Let’s admit it - we all love Indian sweets, So you can imagine our excitement when Mumbai’s well-known Indian Halwai shop M.M.Mithaiwala approached us for packaging design after the pandemic stroked in.
We worked in close collaboration with the team to develop a packaging that pushed the boundaries of the perception of selling and buying sweets from the sweets shop within the consumer's mind.
Rooted in the brand intent, the concepts for packaging started with the product category that they were first planning to launch in the market, i.e. Boondi and Sev Boondi. We delved into exactly how these products were made, what the packaging needs to convey and why it should communicate “Purity and Preimmunises”. After many design explorations, the result was satisfactory and on point.
